Assign employees to a time-off pool and allocate time-off hours
Assign a time-off pool and allocate time-off hours to any employee in an organization with time-off types (activities) that are set up to deduct from a time-off pool.
The time off calendar shows scheduled hours regardless of whether the time off event was requested through Request Management or added to the scheduling calendar.
Optional: Assign a separate time-off pool for a time-off type
Time Off Type (activities) have a Time Off Pool list. By default, the selected employee time-off pool is assigned to these time-off types. If you want a time-off type to be counted against a different time-off pool, you can assign another pool.
Before you begin
Procedure

Go to User Management. Under Employees, select Time Off.

In the left pane, select one or more employees.

Under the Time Off Pool section, click the pencil (Edit icon).

From the Effective Dates dialog box, do the following:

Click an effective date option.

Click a time-off pool.

Click Set.

Optional: To assign a different time-off pool to a time-off type for the selected employees, do the following:

Under the Time Off Type section, in a Time Off Pool list, click a different time-off pool.
The Edit icon (a pencil) is displayed.

Optional. To revert this update back to the default pool, click the Revert icon
.

Optional: To change the effective dates, click the Edit icon (pencil). From the Effective Dates dialog box, click an effective date option, and click Set.

Click Save.
The Edit icon is displayed going forward.

To allocate time-off hours, in the text boxes, type the number of time-off hours allotted for each time-off activity or activity type.
