Add a phone extension associated with a data source
In fixed seating environments, each employee has a permanently assigned workstation and is associated with a specific extension. The data source Third-party systems that provide data to the system, including employee and device states, and data change events. Typical data sources are phone switches, PBXs, or LANs. and extension is included in the user profile.
Procedure

Go to User Management Module that an administrator uses to create a profile for each employee in their organization.. Under Employees, select Profiles.

Go to the Data Source area at the right of the Profiles page.

To add a phone Extension, do one of the following:

Enter the extension in the text box.

Select the pencil icon next to the text box. In the Select Extension dialog box, select the extension, and then select Set.
