Configure Common Cloud Services Secrets settings

Configure the Common Cloud Services (CCS) Secrets settings using the authentication credentials you received from the service provider.

In a multi-tenant environment, if a Service Provider Administrator (SPA) is assigned the Configure Tenants user security privilege Permissions associated with each role that define the features of the application a user is able to view and the functionality in the application the user can access., the SPA can also configure the Common Cloud Services settings on behalf of the tenant.

Before you begin 

Procedure 

  1. Go to System Management. Under General Settings, select Feature Settings.

  2. Select the Common Cloud Services tab.

  3. In a multi-tenant environment, from the list of Tenants on the left, select the tenant for whom you are configuring the Common Cloud Services.

  4. To activate the authentication credentials, move the Active slider to on.

    When turned on, the client automatically uses the settings configured below to access the cloud application or service.

  5. In Identity Service, select the version of Verint Identity configured to manage user access to your Verint cloud services and applications.

  6. Use the values provided by Verint Support to complete the following fields:

    For Identity V1

    • Directory (tenant) ID: The URL of the authorization server that generates the access tokens for the cloud applications or services to consume.

    • Application (client) ID: The Client ID that uniquely identifies the OAuth application registered with Verint Identity.

    • Client Secret: The confidential string for the OAuth application that is used to authenticate your application when requesting tokens.

    For Identity V2

    • Open ID Config URL: The URL that points to the OpenID Provider Configuration Document for the customer's Identity Service V2 compliance zone.

      Examples for different compliance zones:

      • https://api.verint.com/vcp/identity/us/auth/v2/.well-known/openid-configuration

      • https://api.verint.com/vcp/identity/eu/auth/v2/.well-known/openid-configuration

    • Application (client) ID: The Client ID that uniquely identifies the OAuth application registered with Verint Identity.

    • Client Secret: The confidential string for the OAuth application that is used to authenticate your application when requesting tokens.

  7. To validate the configuration, click Test icon Test in the upper right corner of the page.

  8. To save the settings, click Save icon Save in the upper right corner of the page.
