Users provisioned from an Identity Provider

Administrators can automatically provision employees into WFO from an Identity Provider (IdP) such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory One of the main user authentication methods supported in the system, allowing customers to leverage Windows Authentication as the authentication mechanism in the system. (AAD), integrated with the Verint Identity Service. The Verint Identity Service acts as a SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) gateway, synchronizing user data from the IdP to WFO.

IdP connection through Verint Identity Service to WFO

Both the Service Provider Administrator (SPA) and Tenant Administrator perform tasks as part of the initial user provisioning process:

  1. The SPA sets up the connection to the IdP and creates a provisioning organization in WFO to receive users and employee data from the IdP.

  2. The Tenant Administrator sets up the provisioned users and employees in WFO.

Following the initial provisioning process, new users and employees added to the IdP are automatically provisioned to the WFO organization created by the SPA. The Tenant Administrator sets up new users and employees provisioned from the IdP by assigning them to the appropriate organization, and assigning users access rights for the WFO application.
