Configure Chrome to show mixed content
Set up Chrome to allow the Dashboard to display secure (HTTPS) and non-secure (HTTP) content within a Generic Web portlet Visual building block in an application that is interchangeable, depending on system or user configurations (also known as a widget).. This browser configuration enables you to select both secure and non-secure websites in the portlet.
Procedure

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the upper right, click the
icon and then select Settings.

At the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings.

Under the heading Network, click Change proxy settings.

On the Security tab, click Trusted Sites.

Click Sites.
-
Enter the sites into your trusted sites.

Type in the URL of the website to display in your Generic Web portlet.

Click Add.
-
Repeat steps a and b for each website to display in your Generic Web portlet.

Click Close.

On the Security tab, click Trusted Sites.

Click the Custom level button.

On the Reset to: drop-down menu, select Low.

Click Reset. Select Yes on the warning message.

In the Setting list, under Miscellaneous, click Enable for the following:

Display mixed content

Websites in less privileged web content zone can navigate into this zone

Click OK. Select Yes on the warning message.

Click OK again and restart Chrome.
