Viewing notification message list details

You can view the notification details of a message to a recipient or list of recipients as follows.

The same rule can send Alert rule messages to different recipients at the same time. However, some of the messages can have slightly different content.

Example: An agent receives an email about themselves, while the manager receives an email about all employees they manage. In this case, only similar content is displayed, and asterisks (***) denote the similar content.

Each message includes the following fields:

For each type of notification, identifies the sender:

  • Internal (message): Name of sender.

  • Desktop send by Person: Name of sender.

  • Emails, Mobile, DPAs, and Desktop (alerts): Name of the alert rule.

Sent

Day, date, and time the notification was sent.

Priority

For each type of notification, identifies the priority.

  • Email: Low, Standard, or High.

  • Internal (message): Low, Standard, or High.

  • Desktop: Normal, High, or Confidential.

  • DPA: Low, Standard, or High.

  • Mobile: Low, Standard, or High

Subject

Notification subject.

Message Body

 

Text of the message.

Type

Indicates the message type.

Values include:

  • Internal

  • Email

  • Desktop

  • DPA

  • Mobile

Expiration Date

Only Internal message types show this field. Managers can continue to see a list of all notifications sent to employees in their scope, even if expired.

Recipients

All recipients of the message. For each recipient, the row shows:

  • Recipient Name

  • Message Status:

    • Email or Desktop notifications: Can be Delivered or Failed

    • Mobile notifications: Can be Sent or Failed

    • Internal notifications: Can be Read or Unread)

  • Date when the notification was Read (if delivered and opened)

  • In Read-Only mode, none of the fields on this page is editable. To return to the main Messages page, click Done.

  • In Edit mode (for internal messages only), you can edit the message body and expiration date fields. Do one of the following:

    • To update the revised message/expiration date, and to return to the Messages page , click Update .

    • To discard your changes and return to the Messages page, click Cancel.

    • To reset the fields to their original value, click Revert.
