Create hiring plan

A hiring plan pulls together projected staffing requirements from the Strategic Planner and links those requirements to the Verint Intelligent Interviewing (VII) application, to fulfill those staffing requirements.

A scenario from the Strategic Planner is used as a basis for the hiring plan. The scenario file is uploaded to the hiring plan and contains data on work queue Entity that represents demand in WFM. Queues help predict workload by multiplying the volume of customer interactions by their expected handling time. statistics and staffing profiles over a specified period.

Within the hiring plan, positions are created which link staff profiles from the Strategic Planner to positions defined in Verint Intelligent Interviewingand also job title in Workforce Management.

Creating positions allows you to track how the hiring process is going on the Workforce Analytics page. As well as statistics for the queues over the scenario period, you can see how many positions have been filled against the required number for that period.

Hiring Plan Admin is available to Verint Cloud customers with the appropriate licence.

Procedure 

  1. Go to Forecasting and Scheduling. Under Scenarios, select Hiring Plan Admin.

  2. Select Create new.

  3. Provide a unique name for the hiring plan and add a description.

  4. Use the selector to associate the hiring plan with an organization.

  5. To upload a Strategic Planner scenario file, select Browse.

  6. Add a position for each Strategic Planner profile you want to track. For each position you must add a Strategic Planner profile, and we recommend adding an Intelligent Interviewing position to allow the position to be tracked fully inWorkforce Analytics.

    Profiles, positions, and job titles linked to other positions, indicated by the Linked... column cannot be selected for your position.

    1. Select New position and give it a unique name.

    2. Select ... in the Planner Profile column and select from one of the unlinked profiles.

    3. Select ... in the Intelligent Interviewing Position column and select from one of the unlinked positions.

    4. Select ... in the Job Title column and select from one of the unlinked job titles.

  7. Select Save.
