Desktop or mobile messages
The Messaging service notifies you each time you receive a new message. A notification balloon appears in the notification area and you can open the Messages window to view the details. The Messages window indicates if the message was sent with normal, high, or confidential priority.
How are messages sent?
Messages are sent to you in one of two ways:

Organization alert: When an organization alert is configured to send you a message. Example: When a KPI is out of range or you are out of adherence Measure used in Workforce Management (WFM) to determine how well an employee’s scheduled activities match their actual, real-time activities..

Personal message: When other employees send you a message, using the Send Message button.
Message history
The Messages window displays only messages sent during the current session. Message history is not saved. The next time you sign in, messages from previous sessions are not shown.
