Copy and paste status icons
There are three possible statuses from the copy / paste action of an entire schedule: success, soft conflict, or hard conflict.
If a soft or hard conflict exists, the system displays a dialog with the details about the conflict. From this same dialog, you can also view a list of successful paste operations.

Soft conflict |
There are some conflicts with pasting the copied schedule to the target dates and employees, which can result in various scheduling irregularities (such as work rule, work pattern Set of shifts in WFM (usually a weekly set of shifts) that are assigned to employees. A work pattern typically includes one or more shifts and possible days off for one week., or paid hours conflicts). Another soft conflict includes attempting to paste to a time slot that already has a scheduled, standard shift Work period in WFM that has a definite length.. The system presents the details about these conflicts to the user, and the user can either continue pasting the schedule, or cancel the paste. |
|
Hard conflict |
There are conflicts with pasting the copied schedule to the target dates and employees that can cause more serious scheduling conflicts, such as pasting a schedule over unavailability events, or overwriting a custom or non-standard shift. Another hard conflict includes attempting to paste to a time slot that has unavailable or non-editable assignments (such as assignments that belong to a different campaign Collection of scheduling periods in WFM, which are defined time periods where specific employees target specific workloads. or scheduling period). The system blocks the paste action entirely for these conflicts. |
